  • No. Riders rent their own e-bike or electric scooter before the tour.

    The tour begins at a designated e-bike and e-scooter parking zone, where shared vehicles are usually available. The most common brand in this area is EVO, and riders can unlock one using the EVO mobile app. We recommend downloading and setting up the app before arriving to save time. There is also another parking zone about one block away if needed.

    Guests are also welcome to bring their own scooter, e-bike, or bicycle.

  • This tour is designed for adult riders and teens who are comfortable operating an e-bike or electric scooter. Because we ride through active city streets in Cleveland and keep a quick pace to reach multiple landmarks, it is not recommended for young children. Riders must meet the minimum age and safety requirements set by the rental provider and state laws.

  • Yes. Riders are fully responsible for their own safety equipment.

    Sixth City Sights does not provide any bikes, scooters, helmets, or protective equipment of any kind. Guests choose and operate their own vehicle and ride at their own risk.

    By participating in the tour, riders accept full responsibility for their personal safety and for any injuries, accidents, or property damage that may occur while riding.

    We strongly encourage all riders to wear appropriate protective gear and ride responsibly while exploring Cleveland.

  • No. This tour is not an audio or lecture-style tour. It’s designed to be fast, fun, and photo-focused. Your guide will point out key landmarks and help you get great photos, but the focus is on experiencing the city rather than listening to long historical explanations.

  • The tour is easy and beginner-friendly. Electric bikes and scooters make the ride smooth and require very little effort. Riders should still be comfortable balancing and operating their vehicle in a city environment.

    Basic riding experience is recommended. You should already know how to safely operate an e-bike or scooter before joining the tour.

  • Please arrive 10–15 minutes before the tour start time so you have time to check in and ensure your rental equipment is ready.

  • Yes! The tour is designed with quick photo stops at some of the best landmarks, skyline views, and scenic spots in Cleveland so you can capture great pictures throughout your ride.

    Your guide is happy to take photos of your group upon request. All photos are taken using your personal device, so there’s no extra charge and you’ll have the pictures immediately to keep and share on social media or with friends.

  • If you’re familiar with the weather in Cleveland, you know it can change its mind pretty quickly.

    Tours may be rescheduled or canceled for safety reasons in cases of rain, storms, wet roads or other unsafe riding conditions. If weather affects your booking, we will contact you with rescheduling options.

  • We recommend bringing:

    • A fully charged phone for photos

    • Comfortable clothing and shoes

    • Water if it’s a hot day

    • Your rented bike/scooter and safety gear
